The output voltage of power station generators is: generally about 6 kv below 10 MW, 10.5 kv for 50 to 100 MW and 18 kv for 300 MW.
Output voltage has two meanings:
Net output when there is no load is the open circuit voltage difference between the two ends of the circuit;
It is when there is a load The pressure difference at the two ends of the outlet;
If the two are different, the output values will also be different.
The power generation principle of the power plant is to use the power generation device to convert water energy, thermal energy of petrochemical fuels (coal, oil , natural gas), nuclear energy, solar energy, wind energy, geothermal energy, ocean energy, etc. in electrical energy. The production process generates electricity.
According totype of energy, power generation devices are divided into thermal plants, hydroelectric devices, nuclear devices and other power generation devices.
The thermal power plant consists of a boiler, a steam turbine and a generator (commonly known as the three main engines) and their auxiliary devices. The hydroelectric power station consists of a hydroelectric generator, a generator. speed governor, hydraulic device and other auxiliary devices. The nuclear power plant consists of a nuclear reactor, a steam generator, a steam turbine generator set and other auxiliary equipment.
1 The electricity generated by the generator can be used directly, but if you use it for precision instruments, it is recommended to check whether the voltage and other parameters generated by the generator responds toequipment requirements;
2 Typically, generators have star wiring, with three-phase outgoing wires, which you call the live wire, and a center point wire, which you call the live wire. neutral. ;
3 It is recommended that the zero wire of the generator be directly grounded to ensure that: 1) the voltage of each phase of the live wire to ground is 220 V, even if a phase of the live wire is grounded. , the ground voltage will not reach 380V to ensure the safety of people and equipment;
4 If the neutral wire is not grounded, it does not mean that it there is no voltage between the live wire and the earth. The tension still exists. You can try it with an electric meter;
5 If the neutral wire is not grounded, there is still capacitance between the circuit and ground. Therefore, when a person comes into contact with a live wire, a currentt capacitive flows through the person. If the generator capacity is small, the external circuit is short and the capacity is small, the capacitor current will be small and cannot cause personal accident. However, if the capacity is large enough, there will be personal danger;
6 If you touch the live wire, the live wire of the other phase is grounded, the voltage on your body is 380 V, just wait until you see God
