Lithium batteries are dangerous to charge at home. Let's take Yadi electric vehicles, Mavericks electric vehicles and Emma electric vehicles as examples. When charging the lithium batteries of these electric vehicles, do not charge them at home as they will cause safety hazards. Vehicle lithium batteries are filled with explosive and combustible substances, once the lithium battery is overcharged or surrounded by combustible materials, it will easily explode and catch fire after thermal runaway.
Precautions for charging lithium batteries
1. Sequence: When charging, first connect the battery, then turn on the power. After fully charging, first disconnect the power, then disconnect the battery and charger. Keep the key cover closed when connecting the battery to the vehicle.
2. Danger of surcharge: Unplug the charger in time after it is fully charged, and do not charge continuously for more than 8 hours.
3. Do not charge in a subzero temperature environment.
Lithium batteries have no memory effect and can be charged at any time. By deliberately using the battery and then recharging it to full capacity to reduce the number of batteries. charges will not extend battery life, but will damage the battery and negatively impact its life.
In fact, when charging lithium batteries, it is important to “eat less and eat more”. Frequent superficial charging and discharging will help extend their lifespan.
You can charge your phone at any time. You don't need to wait for the low battery alarm or for the phone to be completely discharged. Moreover, when you charg your mobile phone, you should keep the phone in sleep state with black screen and try not to watch videos or play games. When you need to use your mobile phone to talk, it is best to unplug the charging plug. otherwise it will also affect battery life.
Notes:
First of all, keeping lithium-ion batteries properly charged and discharged can extend battery life. Keeping the lithium-ion battery power between 10% and 90% is beneficial to protect the battery. This means that when charging batteries of digital products such as mobile phones and laptops, it is not necessary to reach the maximum value.
If digital products equipped with lithium-ion batteries are exposed to sunlight or stored in hot cars, it is best to keep these products turned off because if the temperature of foperation exceeds 60 degrees Celsius, the lithium-ion battery will accelerate aging. Lithium battery charging temperature range: 0 ~ 45 degrees Celsius, lithium battery discharge temperature range 0 ~ 60 degrees Celsius.
Second, if the cell phone battery needs to be charged every day, the reason may be that the battery is defective or it is time to "retire".
For laptop owners, it is best to remove the battery if it is plugged in for a long time (the high heat generated by the computer while in use is not good for the battery of the laptop).
Third, under normal circumstances, 50% power is most conducive to the preservation of lithium-ion batteries.
